Quilters Dream Cotton starts with the finest USA cotton and is carded, crosslapped and specially needlepunched. 100% natural and environmentally friendly, our batting proudly bears Cotton Incorporated’s seal. Our special process prevents shifting and lumping. It has a very high thermal value (R=3.8) warm yet light. Stitching up to 8" apart allows quilters wonderful freedom of design. Needles (by machine and hand) glide smoothly through the fine, consistent, even webbing. The finished quilt may be machine washed and dried. Shrinkage is minimal. Drapes beautifully giving a traditional look and feel to your quilt. Like yesteryear’s treasured quilts of cotton, your quilts of today deserve the very best. Time tested 100% cotton, with its beauty and durability, has been the first choice for generations of quiltmakers. Quilters Dream Poly is not polyester as usual! The production of Microfibers (very fine denier, high quality polyester fibers) is one of the biggest breakthroughs in polyester. In Dream Poly there are over 60 million microfibers per pound (other polyester batts average only 5 million fibers per pound.)Dream Poly has an exclusive blend of these revolutionary microfibers giving it a very soft hand, exceptional drape, breathability and comfort which surpasses all other polyester batts. You will feel the difference! The combination of our special needlepunch processing (like our Dream Cotton) and the use of the finest microfibers eliminates the need for resins, glue or plastic scrims as stabilizers; allowing your needle to glide smoothly through our fine batting. Like natural fibers, this soft fine denier resists bearding. Dream Poly resists bunching and shifting and is strong enough to stitch up to 12" apart allowing the quilter more freedom of design. Midnight Dreams is a beautiful true black quilt batting - that enhances the integrity, richness and warmth of vivid and dark fabrics and... 'quilts like a dream'. Midnight Dreams Black Poly is a rich black batting that is wonderful with dark and bright colored fabrics. It is highly recommended for use with all black fabrics. It also is excellent with red, maroon, brown, green, navy and other deep and vivid fabric colors. If your quilt has a light side and a dark side - Midnight Dreams Black Poly can be easily layered with one of Quilters Dream's white or natural battings. Midnight Dream's fine denier black fibers are permanently colorfast and impart a lovely soft hand and exceptional drape to your quilt. The fine denier fibers imitate the look, feel and breathability of natural fibers. Available in both the Request and Select loft it is perfect for both hand and machine quilting. Midnight Dreams is specially needlepunched for strength and does not contain scrim or resins. It resists bunching and shifting and is strong enough to stitch up to 10" apart allowing the quilter wonderful freedom of design. Also excellent for tied quilts. You can gently machine wash and dry your finished quilt. You are going to love Midnight Black Dream Poly batting with your dark and colorful fabrics- it is rich, warm, soft and drapeable and truly quilts like a dream. You won't believe it's polyester Dream Angel is made of fibers that are engineered to be flame retardant. The fibers are designed not to melt or flow when in contact with flame. The fibers are inherently flame retardant with no chemical additives and no PBDE's. Dream Angel can be machine washed and dried and will not loose the flame retardant quality. Dream Angel was tested byDream Angel was tested by an independent laboratory and meets both international standards and the NEW DRAFT CAL 604. Dream Angel has a wonderfully natural look and feel. The fibers are needlepunched into a beautiful, soft, cozy batting, very resistant to creasing. No need to prewash! Heavenly for both hand and machine quilting. Confidently stitch up to 6" apart. It drapes beautifully. Finished quilt may be machine washed and dried. Dream Green is a soft, cozy batting made 100% from recycled plastic bottles! Dream Green meets our highest standards of quality, function and performance. Your needles will glide through this unique eco-friendly batting. Finished quilt may be machine-washed and dried with little to no shrinkage. Dream Green is wrinkle-resistant. Each pound of Dream Green Batting keeps 10 plastic bottles out of our landfills. Plastic bottles are cut into chips, washed, melted and extruded into fine polyester fibers. These recycled fibers are indistinguishable from “virgin” polyester fibers yet are made without depleting our precious natural resources. To avoid additional processing we have kept the soft “natural” green bottle color – but you can rest assured that Dream Green is colorfast and compatible to all your finest quilts and projects. Dream Green has been carded, crosslapped and needlepunched for uniformity, strength, and resiliency. There is no scrim or resins yet you can stitch up to 12” apart!
